Our students in grades 3-5 have worked hard this week taking the TerraNova test. Our teachers feel that the students have done a great job. We are sure proud of them. We want to thank our PTO for providing snacks for students during the TerraNova testing.
Don't forget Tuesday the 23rd of March at 1800 in our school Gym, we will have a Kindergarten Musical. I am sure you will not want to miss it.

By June 2012, all students will increase performance on targeted reading comprehension skills using instructional interventions implemented in all curricular areas as measured by the TerraNova 3™ Reading and Science sub tests as well as other system-wide and school-based assessments.
The targeted skills are to synthesize information from multiple sources and to apply this information to solve problems and make decisions.
By June 2012, all students will increase performance on targeted vocabulary skills using instructional interventions implemented in all curricular areas as measured by the TerraNova 3™ Social Studies sub test as well as well as other system-wide and school-based assessments.
The targeted skills are to develop a comprehensive vocabulary used to analyze and understand key concepts in curriculum areas.
Continuous School Improvement (CSI) is a collaborative process of looking at student performance and selecting areas for focus which can be used to improve student learning.
